Crazy Food Challenges Review

Crazy Food Challenges Review

Over the past 9 months I have been put up to the challenge by doing some of the most crazy food challenges ever from eating sugar cubes to drinking balsamic vinegar.
I first heard about these crazy food challenges on Youtube where it was a challenge to eat 6 crackers in a minute, now I was curious as to why people wanted to do this but going with the flow and hearing lots of my friends doing it, I gave it a try and recorded it for everyone to see, unfortunately I failed the challenge by only eating 3 in a minute. I had no idea that they would have been so hard to chew, they just dried out your mouth and throat leaving an impossible task ahead. It was actually very funny to watch back at my reaction and I decide to put it up on my Youtube channel to see if anyone viewed it.
Not knowing much about Youtube at the time and only recently joining, I was very surprised with the amount of views and positive comments I received over the duration of a week, many viewers enjoyed this video and wanted me to make more, this is when I realized that I could actually make something out of this.

I was talking to my friends and checking out some of the funny crazy food challenges on Youtube and I stumbled into one called “the cinnamon challenge”, now this is one that maybe I could complete because cinnamon is what can go in cakes, surely not too hard, oh dear why did I say that.
My video of the cracker challenge was popular around school as well and two of my friends called Baxter and Ash wanted in on the cinnamon challenge. As we put the cinnamon in our mouths, we could do nothing else but cough creating a big cloud of cinnamon powder in front of us. It was absolutely hilarious especially in slow motion.
After this utterly stupid challenge, me and Baxter made our own series where we would challenge each other and go against each other in different challenges that we could think of, we called it “Crazy Food Challenges With James and Baxter”.

As soon as we had the name and ideas of what we could do, we recorded each challenge separately and in each challenge, we tried to beat each other, examples included the gummy bear challenge, the sugar cube challenge and the coke and milk challenge.
After many months of constant torture and popularity on Youtube, we decided to make a series 2 of crazy food challenges and making out that all of the previous challenges were season 1.
But with the new series, we made a website to boost popularity and a DVD which included 10 fun packed episodes.
This was not released out in shops because they were on Youtube and free to watch anyway so it was really just for fun, but it was definitely worth it.
Each challenge we did was meant to be comedy so we put as much effort into each one however bad it was, I think the worst challenge we did in season 1 was the milk challenge which involved 4 liters of milk and a lot of throwing up.

Our aim was to make our audiences on Youtube laugh and if they wanted more challenges, we would do them. I think one of the funniest challenges that I did was the baking soda and lemon juice challenge, this was because the lemon juice reacted with the baking soda and expanded and frothed up in my mouth, I just wouldn't stop. For me personally, I think the worst challenge I did was the salt and ice challenge, this is when you put salt on your hands and squeeze ice cubes together with it, it freezes the salt to your hand, the result of this is blisters, very very painful.

We hope to keep uploading as many challenges as possible because it is what makes us well known around the world and at school, everyone mentions us around school. “Oh my god your challenges are awesome”, “You guys are insane”. All we can say is “Yes we are” and laugh.
